Cherry and Bubinga Snare Drum

Featuring a Cherry wood segment shell with accent stripes of African Bubinga, this instrument is also shown sporting our Hardwood Hoops in Maple. The finish is a high-gloss lacquer, and as with all of our drums the bearing edges are cut and polished while the shell spins on the lathe to ensure a perfect profile. The 14" by 5.25" size makes tuning for a high pop, a full, fat backbeat, or a sloppier washy blues sound a snap. A touch mellower than Maple, this Cherry instrument is versatile and musical with lots of woody tone and character.

Fingerjointed Maple Hardwood Hoops, Cherry and Bubinga segment shell, embossed leather Stanbridge badge and brass tube lugs and rods. Hardware on our drums is isolated from the shell using colour-matched leather washers and grommets, and inside each instrument a signed paper tag indicates the wood species, hardware options, date and serial number.
