Cherry Pau Ferro

Here are a few photos of the construction process from planks to completed drum. This drum is a 14" by 6.5" Cherry shell with Pau Ferro centre band, White Oak pinstripes, Pau Ferro hoops and our gold plated hardware. We are huge fans of Cherry for snare drums shells - it has a marvelous full range tonality which works well across a spectrum of genres and seems to rise above the din. We find that the sound of our Cherry shell instruments continues to open up for some time after they are delivered and produce some memorable praise. This drum was no exception.
