This one took some time...

This drum is a 14" by 6"
by 1/4" thick segment shell snare comprised of Brazilian Mahogany,
African Blackwood, Bloodwood, and Maple surrounding centre panels
of Claro Walnut Burl. The hoops are constructed of fingerjointed
Bubinga with African Blackwood striking surfaces, and the drum features
a high gloss lacquer exterior with pebbled satin lacquer inside.
This instrument has the warmth and low fundamental
characteristic of Mahogany, with an element of sizzle provided by
the harder woods, and the hoops feature a bright attack sound with
a gutsy woody undertone.
Bearing edges are our lathe-cut and sculpted 55
degree profile, and the hardware is a handsome muted black chrome.
