I enjoy the details - this is a hand-carved throwoff handle made of Curly Pink Ivory wood with Ebony cheeks
We specialize in figured woods such as this Claro Walnut burl.
Stock for hoop blocks is carefully cut to size, precisely mitered, and fingerjointed to add strength to the joint.
I try to leave an inconspicuous section of the white sapwood visible when working with African Blackwood.
This gold Dunnett R2 throwoff received a custom carved handle, knob and strap plate in Ebony.
