How can I become an endorser?
Sorry - this is a very small company and each instrument takes a huge investment of time and resources, so I cannot offer discounts or provide free drums to artists.
Do you build complete drumkits?
Yes!!!! In fact, we have a number of drumkit projects currently underway. A drumkit Gallery is coming soon.
Where can I try out one of your drums?
That’s tough - I don’t have any retail dealers and I also don’t spend a lot of time going to trade shows. If you email me, I may be able to hook you up with one of our clients in your area (with their permission of course), or at least point you to some recordings of our drums. What is your background?
I was a percussion major at University for 4 years, before spending the following 12 years booking and producing over 1300 entertainment events with artists ranging from amateur to superstar. I have been working with wood since I was a kid, and have been building drums full time since 2001.
Can I come out and see your shop?
Also tough. Our remote location on the island of Newfoundland in the North Atlantic is one stumbling block. The other is that I work from home and I’m pretty sure I saw you on America’s Most Wanted. If you are on the Rock, write to me and we’ll see what’s up.

While technically not a question, I still apologize for the confusion. My mailbox location is at 38 Pearson Street, but at only 4 inches square it is far too small to fit a table saw.
How can I make a small fortune by building and selling my own drums?
Start with a large fortune.
Can I buy your magnificent Hardwood Hoops for my own snare drum?
Sorry - at this point I am only handcrafting our hoops for our instruments. They simply take too long to build for it to be practical to sell them aftermarket.
How many craftsman work in your facility?
One, if you count me.
Why don’t you expand?
I’m not interested in ‘growing my business’ or maximizing dividends for my shareholders (of which there aren’t except my saintly wife), and I really don’t want to employ anybody. I like working with great wood and great people and that seems to be going okay.
Why are your drums so expensive?
There is a tremendous amount of time involved in each drum I produce. The actual material and hardware cost is only a small percentage of the final price of the drum because of this. As an example, it takes me one full work day for assembling, tuning and tweaking each instrument after the many days it has taken me to handcraft all of the parts. Of course, I do drink a lot of coffee and that probably slows me down some.
